Brent Weinberg, MD

Dr. Weinberg is a neuroradiology faculty member at Emory University. As one of 16 neuroradiology division members, his interests focus on adult brain and spine with particular interest on brain tumors. Since joining Emory, he has actively worked with faculty from neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, and radiation oncology to improve brain tumor imaging.

Dr. Weinberg completed his MD and PhD degrees at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, where his PhD focused on developing novel minimally invasive treatments for liver tumors. He trained in diagnostic radiology at University of Texas-Southwestern followed by neuroradiology fellowship at University of California-San Francisco.

Dr. Weinberg and Dr. Hoch have actively worked with faculty from neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, and radiation oncology to improve brain tumor imaging.

Michael J. Hoch

MD


 

Dr. Hoch has been an assistant professor at Emory University since 2016. Prior to joining Emory, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Temple and neuroradiology fellowship at NYU. Dr. Hoch has an interest in brain tumor imaging as well as other advanced imaging techniques including functional MRI (fMRI) and DTI.

Ashwani Gore

MD


Ashwani Gore, MD

Dr. Gore completed the Emory radiology residency in 2020 and has a strong interest in brain tumor imaging. While at Emory, he completed the combined Diagnostic Radiology and Molecular Imaging residency. In 2020 he started neuroradiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.

Ashwani contributed to several of the projects to get BT-RADS running, including its initial description, responding to feedback from collaborating teams, and collecting initial data on the use of the BT-RADS structured scores. 

As a resident at Emory, Dr. Gore played a key role in the initial development and implementation of BT-RADS on the clinical service
